Polysemy of insurance terms in economic texts and their functional significance
Abstract
This article analyzes the polysemous properties of insurance terms used in economic texts and their functional significance on a scientific and theoretical basis. The study highlights the semantic expansion of insurance terms, their different meanings in different contexts, and their communicative functions in economic discourse. The polysemous nature of terms is also studied in connection with their role in ensuring clarity, conciseness, and information density in economic texts. The results of the study serve as an important scientific basis for the systematization of insurance terminology and the improvement of the translation of economic texts.
