Abstract

This article analyzes the semantic and structural polysemy features of insurance terms in English and Uzbek. The polysemous nature of terms, their dependence on context, as well as their interrelation with various fields are scientifically elucidated. In the course of the research, the structural aspects of insurance terms, namely their simple, complex, and compound forms, are comparatively analyzed. In addition, the degree of manifestation of polysemy in English and Uzbek and its influence on the translation process are examined.
